Thank you for your purchase from SplitGenie. We hope you are satisfied with your subscriptions and other services provided by us. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase/subscriptions/transaction for any valid reason, you may enquire with us for the refunds, if applicable. Kindly refer below for more information on our REFUND & CANCELLATION policy:
Once you request to join any shared subscription, by any host, you can withdraw your joining request anytime before the host accept your request. After your joining request is approved and accepted by the host, you can not leave the sharing group.
For the avoidance of doubt, the refund and refund process provided under this section shall apply to you.
The host have got 48 hours to accept or reject a joiner’s joining request. In case of no response from the host, the joiner shall be refunded of your whole amount.
In case the host does not comply with the sharing terms and conditions of SplitGenie by not providing the correct credentials and not providing the subscription services till the stipulated time, a SplitGenie mediation specialist will look into the matter, and after proper investigation into the matter, the mediation specialist shal give a binding attribution to both the joiner and host and the host may be penalized and the joiner may be refunded accordingly:
- If the host fails to provide uninterrupted suscription service (exceptions allowed if the interruptions occurs from the side of subscription service provider) for the first 7 days of acceptance of the joining request of any joiner, the host shall not receive any money from the joiner and the joiner shall be refunded fully.
- If the host provides the services for 7 days but not upto the end of tenure of a billing cycle, the host shall receive the amount for the days, the subscription was successfully provided to the joiner in prorata basis in terms of the days the service was provided, and the remaining amount shall be refunded to the joiner.
- In case the host successfully provided the services and the issue was due to any unwanted discrepancies by the joiner, the joiner shall not get any refund and the host shall get his/her stipulated share of payments.
All refunds shall be made to the “Available wallet” of the user. The user can withdraw the amount in his Available Wallet into his Bank Account/PayTM Wallet/UPI after providing the necessary details.
The money shall reflect in the users’ bank account or wallet in 2 - 8 business days depending on the payout method and bank timings.
